![]() ![]() The Restore Manager can be used if you already have Carbonite installed or if you need to install Carbonite and restore. When you are satisfied with your choice, click the OK button and the file will be restored to the location you specified. (If you wish to create a new folder, click the Make New Folder button, type a name for the new folder, and press the Enter key.) Find and select the location to which you wish to restore your selected file(s)/folders(s). option, you will see a window displayed allowing you to choose a location for the restore. If you chose to restore a file to a new location with the Restore To. and you will see the Browse For Folder window displayed. To restore a file or folder to a new location, select Restore To. The file will then be restored to where it was originally located. When you have found the desired file or folder, right-click it and select Restore to restore the file to its original location. Once in the Carbonite Backup Drive, find the file or folder you wish to restore. Click Browse your backup to open the Carbonite Backup Drive. Within the Carbonite InfoCenter click the Restore tab to view a list of your restore options. Double-click the Carbonite lock icon in your Windows notification area to open the Carbonite InfoCenter. You can open the Carbonite Backup Drive through the Carbonite InfoCenter. ![]() If you need to restore a file and are not sure where the file is located, Carbonite can help you search for the file using details such as the filename or date the file was last modified. When you restore a file/folder, you can restore it to the original location or you can specify a new location. If you know the name and location of the file/folder you wish to restore, you can use the Carbonite Backup Drive to restore it. ![]()
